Headquarters: Oslo, Norway. Founded 2017. Owned by the private-equity firm Triton. Flokk launched in 2017 as a rebranding of Scandinavian Business Seating; HÅG dates from 1943 and RH from 1977.

Warranty and spare parts

Warranty: HÅG and RH: 10 years for use up to 9 hours a day; 5 years for longer or 24/7 use. Labour and transport are not covered. Default maximum user weight: HÅG 110 kg, RH 150 kg, unless stated otherwise for a model.

Spare parts: Flokk guarantees spare parts for at least 10 years from the chair’s production date.

A maker's warranty is a voluntary extra. In the EU the seller still owes you at least the two-year legal guarantee; how the two fit together.
