Peter Opsvik’s 1984 saddle chair, made in Røros. Its seat goes much higher than a task chair (460–640 mm on the standard lift), which suits standing desks and counters, and it is one of the few chairs here with an EU Ecolabel certificate.

Manufacturer notes: Factsheet: 'Adjustable seat height, seat depth, back height, headrest (8107 + 8127), backward tilt tension and lockable tilt.' Tilt range (3) to (−17)°, backrest height adj. 44–50 cm. Headrest only on models 8107/8127.

Fit: seat height against EN 1335

The published seat-height range is 460–640 mm (8106 with 200 mm gas lift per factsheet (values printed in cm: 46–64). 150 mm lift: 400–540; 265 mm lift: 550–810. Product page instead says 470–655 mm with the standard 200 mm lift (sources differ). Measured with 64 kg load). It does not span the full range of any EN 1335-1:2020 Type.

Prices in Europe

We found no official HÅG store that publishes a price for the Capisco 8106: Official Flokk store (store.flokk.com) has country versions (DE, AT, CH, NL, BE, FR, PL, NO, SE, DK, UK, Global) but Capisco and SoFi pages show only a configurator with "Ask for price" / "Preis anfragen" / "Vraag om prijs" / "Demander un devis" / "Zapytaj o cenę". No official prices. Prices are set by dealers, so ask two or three for a written quote with delivery included.
