IKEA’s more adjustable office chair, declared as Type B by dimensions under EN 1335-1, with 2D armrests, automatic tension, a headrest and the 10-year office-chair guarantee. IKEA calls the seat depth adjustable but publishes only one figure (46 cm).

Fit: seat height against EN 1335

The published seat-height range is 450–560 mm (Min. seat height 45 cm, max. seat height 56 cm (IE and GB pages agree)). It does not span the full range of any EN 1335-1:2020 Type.

Seat-height range compared with EN 1335-1:2020 types EN 1335 Type Ax: 400–540 mm; EN 1335 Type A: 400–520 mm; EN 1335 Type B: 420–510 mm; EN 1335 Type C: 430–480 mm; JÄRVFJÄLLET: 450–560 mm 380420460500540580620660 EN 1335 Type Ax EN 1335 Type A EN 1335 Type B EN 1335 Type C JÄRVFJÄLLET 450–560
Seat height in mm, loaded seat. Grey bars: the range each EN 1335-1:2020 Type must cover. Black bars: the manufacturer’s published range.

Using the popliteal-height ratio of 0.255 × stature and a 25 mm shoe allowance (Pheasant and Haslegrave, Bodyspace; see the height calculator), this range puts the thighs roughly level for people about 167–210 cm tall. That is an estimate from average body proportions, not a fitting.
